Connecting to the CSU Network

Visitors to Colorado State University can connect to the csu-visitor wireless network for free short-term internet access. Access lasts for 24 hours, so you'll need to re-register each day. If you are at an institution that participates in eduroam, you can connect via that network for secure access.

Getting Online through the CSU Visitor Network

  1. Select the csu-visitor network from the list of available networks on your device.
  2. A web browser should automatically open to the visitor network portal as shown below. Click the Create Account link to begin registering for access.  (If the browser does not open automatically, open a web browser manually and navigate to any webpage to be redirected).

  3. Enter your name and email address in the required fields.
  4. Accept the University’s acceptable use policy by checking the box.
  5. Click Register.

  6. A screen will appear confirming access has been granted for 24 hours (1 week during summer session).
  7. Click Log In to start using the internet.

Note: You do not need to write down the guest password as it will not be required during any point of authenticating
