Our conference app was developed by undergraduate students in UMaine’s Computer Science Capstone course (COS 397), under the guidance of Associate Professor Terry Yoo. This free app is available via the Apple Store and Google Play, and is able to serve IWAC in perpetuity. A short video on the app’s features is provided below.
The app can be downloaded at any time, however access will begin on June 15, 2027 and is only available to those who have registered for the conference. (We use the registration list as confirmation for account access.) If you run into any challenges or issues after you’ve registered for the conference, please contact the conference organizers.
This mobile app allows for communication between individuals, scheduling your conference experience, receiving timely updates, and the linking of conference materials (i.e., scripts, slides, handouts) for accessibility. This is also how we manage conference content for virtual attendees.
